I appreciate anything done with love and you certainly get the feel that this B&B is operated with heart and soul. Upon walking in the door, Bobby offered a friendly greeting and fantastic tips for local entertainment. We settled in to the Traveler's Suite and then had a great time on the town based on his recommendations. Our room had been ready when we arrived at 2:30pm, even though check-in isn't until 4-6pm. An 11am check-out is appreciated, as other places can be earlier. The entire home is well decorated. The owners had to start from scratch when they bought it in '08 because the previous owners sold everything in the house and left it empty. They've done an amazing job at recreating a historical and luxurious atmosphere. The photos don't do it justice. A comfortable bed with super soft sheets, a flat screen TV, wireless internet, air conditioning and home-made cookies at your disposal are total bonuses. I would stay here even if these amenities and treats weren't available. They were kind enough to put a shower in the claw foot tub in our bathroom, as the general population is a little too spoiled and in a rush to think of just bathing these days. Noise from other guests was not an issue. We were served blueberry pancakes, bacon and fruit for breakfast, which were delicious. I'm always in fear of being served bad coffee, but they get a thumbs up for this too. Our cook for the day, who was filling in, did a great job and was very friendly as well. The exterior and property may need some maintenance, but I think they are slowly working on this. From what I could tell, the interior is impeccable. My spouse and I wanted to stay two nights but the Mansion was booked solid. It would be a riot to return with a group of friends. I'd recommend this place to anyone. It's worth every penny and you certainly don't meet cool people at a breakfast table when staying in a hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Collins mansion. We have seen them on different websites many times. I was born and raised most of my younger life in Great Falls. The room was nice and comfortable and very reasonably priced. We stayed in the biggest available!! Breakfast was great! Why stay anywhere else in Great Falls? None of the hotels/motels compare! We will definitely be regulars! Wife loved it! Front desk help was fabulous!!

Our original wedding location fell through, so we went to Collins Mansion on short notice from our planned wedding date. The staff not only put a wedding together in around three weeks, they put it together very well. The food was great and the staff did an exceptional job. We regret not going here to begin with.

Ok let me just start this whole thing off by stating that I am not into the whole bed and breakfast thing. I mean Im just not into the ancient architecture, all the nick-nacks lying around, and annoying and impractical amenities to be found in these places. As for the Collins Mansion it was payed for by someone else so what the heck. We were greeted pleasantly by the "inn keeper" Bobby who was very cordial and showed us to our room. We had just been camping in Glacier National Park and I was in need of a shower. I went into the bathroom to unfortunately find a claw foot tub staring me in the face. No curtain around it, no enclosure, just a tub. I just stood there thinking what am I 5 again i have to take a tub. It was more of a chore than anything else. Aside from that when going to bed they had one of those mattresses which I thought was neat and spent about 20 minutes trying to decide to I like my bed firm or soft, or firm, or soft.... Had a good night sleep and awoke to a wonderful breakfast. There was stuffed french toast with blackberries, breakfast sausage, bacon, home fries, and fresh fruit. Overall it was a great experience despite my loathing for B&Bs

Really enjoyed our visit. Great bed and breakfast. We are from the San Francisco Bay Area and enjoy B and B's. We enjoyed this one as the inn keeper Bobby was a great cook; his breakfast creation was masterful. He's friendly, helpful, and a great artist! Ask him to show you his work... Jeff
